New Mexico Artisan Collective started as an idea: create a better way for New Mexico artists, makers, and craftspeople to get discovered and learn how to market what they create. I helped turn that idea into an actual digital platform, complete with an artisan directory, membership model, newsletter, marketing systems, and resources designed to help individual artisans build their own visibility.

Rian already had the most important part of the business figured out: great service and happy customers. What was missing was consistent marketing. It started off with me trying to figure out the website and online marketing by myself. I realized I had no clue what I was doing, so I gave up and relied on word of mouth. That was helpful, but with today’s world of AI and computers, I knew I was behind everyone else.
